  • Event: Motor Vehicle Accident

  • Main Injury: lower extremity trauma with severe muscle damage

  • Complications: cardiac arrhythmia (caused by hyperkalemia), cardiac arrest, and AKI, severe hypercalcemia complicated recovery of the AKI
