This section explains the normal physiology of the systems involved in the onset of MG. The two main players in MG are the immune system and the neuromuscular junctions (NMJ) throughout the body.[1] These systems are controlled by various pathways and their functions can be modeled. We will discuss the normal physiology, functions and pathways of these players, so we can understand the changes that occur during MG. Click on the sections below to learn more.
